Our Journey
PeopleFirst HR Partners was founded in March 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia US to fill the gap that small and mid-sized companies had in being able to afford to have HR on their team, or lacked capacity of time or skill to deliver on their HR agenda. As a result, HR Strategic Partners was registered and was able to provide consulting services to them.
With the growth into East Africa, specifically Nairobi, it was important for the company to have a presence as well ensure that it had legal registration hence HR Strategic Partners doing business in Kenya as PeopleFirst HR Partners was registered in 2021 and incorporated in 2022. PeopleFirst HR Partners has ten years of solid performance and business partnership in the US and Africa (East and West).
Our values with this success have remained the same. While we adapt to the ever-changing global environment and our business partners’ needs, at the core of why we do what we do, remains constant.

Pam Korir Kuria, PHR
Managing Partner
With over two decades in the Human Resources, Pam has built a solid and successful track record for guiding F500 multinational corporations to become competitive players while still achieving more through effectively engaging top talent.
Her global experience and practical cross-cultural exposure, has seen her serve in senior management and executive positions in industry-leading organizations such as Goldman Sachs, Atlanta GA (Director of Operations and Human Resources), Diageo, Nairobi Kenya (Africa, HR Business Partner), and Guaranty Bank, Atlanta GA (Regional Human Resources Business Partner) where she received acclaim for blending technology and human strategies.
She is a certified Executive Coach with AoEC, a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and Women in Leadership through the RiseSchool. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a MSC in Information Systems Management.
